A Local Chapter
This club was formed in July 2006 to reach out to the local area owners and riders that share a common interest in Victory motorcycles. We are a Chapter of "The Victory Motorcycle Club" and share memberships with them.

History
A long time Victory owner, Mike Pearce (Jethro), had been kicking around the idea of a local club for some time. With one of the best dealers in the United States in sales being local (they are selling bikes to somebody), Mike started to ask around to see if there was any interest in starting a local chapter that would tie into "The Victory Motorcycle Club". Before long (if not a record breaking start to finish job of getting the local chapter approved), Mike found enough people to start the local chapter and had the Board of Directors approve the Charter for the new local club. There have been many names submitted to the local area people and in the end the name chosen was "Southern Comfort Victory Riders" or "SCVR" for short.

Future Goals
The goals of the club have not yet been fully established but will be address in future meetings with those who wish to join the local chapter. This area will be updated periodically to reflect the goals and direction of the local chapter.
